What Would You Do?

You hope that is their intention. Do you really know? You know nothing about this person.

Good point. But they don’t know you either.

The first time a dog bit me on the job, I was inside a customers house. It was a German Shepard. Luckily a smack between the eyes with a screwdriver was enough to stop him. But what if he continued his attack?

I have the right to protect myself anywhere anytime by any means possible. That’s why the gun is concealed and the customer does not see it.

I used to drive from job to job. I might go to a real nice guys house and the next job might be a domestic violence situation or an eviction. Or maybe a business owner just fired someone and they need their locks changed.

I respect the rights of others. But I am not taking my gun off and on all day long because of a squeamish customer. The only time I left my gun behind is when it was not legal such as the post office, court house, or police department detention areas.

But again, concealed means concealed.

I practice MMOB 100% of the time. I just assume everyone carries and act accordingly.

That is interesting...and surprising.

I have visited homes of others and regularly do so just about every day of my life...past and present.

Never, ever have I inquired if it’s okay to carry my gun. NEVER!

First of all, many of my friends and acquaintances (new and old) have no idea whatsoever that I am usually CCW. Why would I tell them?

I LIKE IT THAT WAY.

If perchance anyone tells me I cannot carry a gun in their house I would honor their request but given that has never happened in my 44 plus years of CCW I find that scenario highly unlikely to occur.

Be safe.

My goodness; I would NEVER go into someone's house with a gun or anything else of which I wasn't absolutely sure the king or queen of that castle would approve. It's not my house.

LOL last Friday had my new safe delivered to the new lake property......

Two guys; the locksmith and his helper.

While moving the safe the last couple of inches into the corner the "Helper'" (6'2" and 200+) had a holster clip failure and the holster and gun popped out of his butt (well actually from under his sweatshirt) like a ....... well you know!

He was able to trap it before it hit the concrete........

I suggested he get a better holster with straps and snaps ...... maybe a Sparks Summer Special...... or Executive Companion like the one that was holding my Shorty-9! :D

A Cash payment was getting me another 7% off the price.... :D

I know something because I called for their help. I have turned people away before who didn't show up in the proper shirt/uniform.

One either practices respect or one doesn't.
This isn't being disrespectful. If there's a sign on the door or they've told me in person, that they don't want a gun in their house, then it's disrespectful to carry in there. However, if the subject has never come up, it's not.
