Keep it UNLESS there is something you have to have in it's place. I sold mine and miss it already

I do not need the money...I have plenty of guns to carry and shoot!! I actually had the gun listed to trade on here and I took it off. because I thought I would regret it..I know it is not a COLLECTOR because I have no box or paperwork,,,BUT IT IS PRETTY!!!

I screwed up and sold mine (there's your answer)---or you could sell it to me for a ridiculously small amount if it will end your confusion.

I still carry one of those periodically. Perfect carry revolver.

Sadly it is becoming evident that S&W will no longer make them as nice as that.

Keep it. You will regret letting it go. Regards 18DAI.

You do not need the money? Then if you just want to get rid of for a while send it to me and I'll keep/shoot it until you want it back. Boy, am I a swell guy or what. Just kidding of coarse but if it were me I would hang on to it. Nice looking 66.

to beat a dead horse please keep it.I looked for years and found a nice 66 with box.I love it so much I got a blued 19 snubby. so box smox keep it and enjoy it.

Why do you assume it is not collectable because it has no box. It is "VERY" collectable. In a year from now, that revolver used, in the shape it is in, will sell for $525 or more. The value will just keep going up on the older S&W's.

If you like revolvers, you better hang on to that one! As other have said.. "They dont make em' like that anymore!"

I bought one of these for my Girlfriend when we were in college. I still have the box, she has the revolver. She always got the better end of the deal.

One of these days, I'll replace it. I keep promising myself. K frame snubbies are just great guns.

Well, like most LE type s&w's, they made a zillion of them. I carried one on the job for years. Now considering the condition of your's keep it until you find something you would rather have and use it for trade fodder. Sometimes good trading stuff is worth more than a handful of cash. (I hear that are making tons of that)

I don't have a big desire for a .357 Snub. Seems like a lot of kick, flash, and blast for not much velocity. For some reason a 3" barrel M-65 or M-66 appeals to me even though it is only a silly 1/2" longer. If it was mine I would probably trade it on one of those or a 3-1/2" or 5" M-27.

I just bought one, but it was a pinned and recessed 66-1 - it is on its way from a great forum member, I paid $500 shipped.

Keep it, it is a cool gun.
