What would you like to see next from S & W?

What do you want to see Smith come out with next? Not a reissue of an old gun, but something new. Personally, I would love to see Smith come out with a .22 rifle. Something either in bolt action or maybe a nice little semi rifle. As far as a handgun, well, a nice little 5 shot gun chambered in .41 Special if anyone was so inclined to start making the ammo.

I would like to see a S&W revolver that can fire my 9mm or .40 cal ammo without "clips". I saw an ad for a revolver that could do this made by Taurus I think it was? Ammo that can be shot from my semi and revolver would be kinda cool.

All I want is what everyone else seems to want - a handgun that weighs only 6 ounces, made of indestructible materials, have the power and knockdown of at least a 44 magnum , no recoil, no internal lock

I would also like to see a 22 rifle. But I would like something along the lines of a Winchester 52, 100% built in America. They could offer a field grade model, and some competition models through the Performance Center. Both could have a very high quality bolt action. I would like a 22 built like a 30-06 sporter.

The new .22 version of the black M&P15 should be out in fall. This new product was huge at the recent SHOT Show in January, 2009. This rifle and the new M&P M4 "auto" were the 2 hot buttons at the show.

Availability of the new .22 should be interesting to follow. My local gun shop already has 6 customer orders and it's not even been promoted yet!

I would like to see S&W come out with a 22 cal. adapter that fits the M&P line. It would be great to have the ability to practice with your regular trigger pull and feel of the gun but shoot inexpensive ammunition. Two guns in one.
There is an adapter out for the Glock line and if ammunition prices continues to rise, lack of that option will have an impact on sales. The LEO community would have interest in one as well.
