What Year .357 Mag Is This?

First off, I am not a cartridge collector per se. I do have a couple of S&W .357's from the 1930's, and was looking for a box of ammo from that time frame which I could display with the guns. I found this one. Can someone tell me when this ammo was produced? If more info or pictures are needed, please let me know. Thanks

The Western Cartridge Company bought Winchester in 1931. In 1935 the company reorganized under Olin forming Winchester-Western. I mention this because the back of the box has the Winchester-Western name on it so that ammo is post 1935. Additionally, the Olin Mathieson Chemical Corporation was not formed until 1954 so that box of ammo is post 1954. Sorry for the bad news but maybe one of the collectors can tell you if the box is the same as the ones from the 30's. The front only has "Western" on it so it might fill your need.

The date code on the OP's box shows manufacture on November 23 1959 so it's a little bit later than the period he wants. The pics kscharlie has in his post show the basic styles he should look for in 30's era ammo boxes.
