Big fan here. Ruthie loves him and would trade me for him in a minute.

He still throws his hat into the acting ring. He writes and consults on movie and short family film scores.

We enjoyed him in "Memphis Belle" and "Independence Day".

We have all his CD's and especially like his Christmas stuff.

Don't forget Harry Jr's father, Harry Connick Sr. He was a successful attorney, serving as District Attorney for New Orleans (actually the Parish in which NO exists) and would perform in clubs in New Orleans, singing jazz music, and if I remember may have also played the sax? Not sure about that though. A very talented man. I think he is still alive, and about 90.

I've watched the show a bit. He isn't trying to be oprah. Kind of benign and sometimes fun.

He was a judge on American Idol for several seasons (four I think). He was hilarious and had good banter with Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez. He was one of the best judges the show ever had and gave very sound advice. On the show he often brought up his daughters and wife. His family is very important to him which is probably why he doesn't tour.

I didn't know he was on a daytime show. I would think that he would be good at it because he is a people person. I hope he gets back into the studio to record more music.

My wife and I were working at the San Jose Jazz festival as volunteers a bit back...heard Harry Connick Jr. voice somewhere in the distance..thought it was just a recorded song between acts...turned out he showed up as a surprise as he was going to be performing at the Shark Tank and was just in the area and decided to give the audience a surprise. And it was!

I would think that he would be good at it because he is a people person.

So !...He's not a felon,? a convicted rapist,?...no racism ?, and his wife doesn't do risque facebull videos, ??? no wonder he's not an AAA ++ 1 attraction !!
