what's a S&W made Walther PPK/s stainless in 32 ACP worth, like new?

S&W made Walther PPK pistols for a while and there was a recall for some of them. Do these factors make these guns worth more or less? I have had a number of PP, PPK and PPK/s guns in 380 ACP and 22LR in the past and have found both those calibers to be jam-a-matics, whereas the 32 ACP guns seem to be much more reliable. So...that (in addition to the fact I have a lot of FN 32ACP ammo) makes me interested in a late mode PPK/PPKs stainless in 32ACP. I have come across one in close to NIB condition, with both mags and box and would like to know what is a fair price to pay for it....it is one made by S&W in Houlton, ME...I do not know if it is one of the group recalled or not, but S&W still lists these guns on the S&W website, so I assume they would still do the recall mods without charge. Any thoughts?

No clue what they're worth, but in my opinion they are everything the original Walther PPK was not. Mine was recalled and they did whatever it was. Fine by me.
I was issued one in the '80s. Hated it. Until I learned to hold it low in a death grip it cut railroad tracks on the web of my hand. Yeah, I know, get a proper grip. Bu if you have to reach for it from cover in a rush you'll grab it as best you can. The S&W ones have that beavertail. Works fine for me. I carried an original in tropical climes under my shirt with only a t-shirt between it and me for a week with no opportunity to clean/oil it and the safety rusted and was frozen "on." Had to beat it apart while loaded. The stainless model won't do that.
Again, not sure of prices, but they seemed to be going for less than new. If I was still a wage-slave I'd buy another.
In my experience the jamming is ammo specific, so long as the gun is in good repair with a sound recoil spring. In the '80s we were pretty limited to round-nose ammo. I'd heard of problems with hollow-point, but I'd bet modern PD ammo would do better.
I briefly had a .32ACP PPK in the early '70s. Don't recall any jamming problems, but it cut my hand when drawn in a hurry and was not very accurate beyond about 25 feet. Would barely hold "minute of head." Coulda bin a bad barrel.
Don't worry about the recall. Free shipping both ways, took minimal time.
