Just curious what folks are trying to pick up as their next firearm(s). Here's what is on my wish list:

Henry Frontier Lever 22
Ruger GP100 22
Smith Model 63

A Kahr T9 is pushing to make it on the list but so far I've kept it at bay.

Nothing special.... H&K P2000 V1 or V3 in 9mm

My request is quite simple and un-obtainable. I wish one of the bullet companies would produce a 25 caliber full metal jacket bullet. Every other caliber has such bullets available but none for the orphan 25 calibers. Makes me feel like a left handed, red headed step child. And while they are at it the can quite the whole boat tail malarkey. Seems every bullet is now a boat tail. What next, a boat tail bullet for a 45-70?

That request was for rifle bullets, .257".

I got an itch for:

  • Beretta PX4 Storm full size chambered in 9mm
  • A Styer Aug
  • A FN PS90

Every time I get one in my hands, I loose the itch. What I do want is a S&W 629 6.5" barrel. I have absolutely no practical need for it.

Ann Margaret as she looked in Viva Los Vegas with a package containing a matched set of Pythons. 4,6,and 8"( and a big bottle of Viagra)

Ruger American in 270 or 308.
Henry in 22wmr.
S&W SS 686 2.5" barrel
Walther PPK, I'm an old James Bond fan.

A Henry in 22 magnum. Like that silver receiver as it reminds me of the 1873 Winchester. Owning a bolt and a lever in 22 mag. sounds like the best of both worlds.

Henry .22 mag small game carbine, wouldn't mind one in .22lr either.

Sass set of Ruger Vaqueros in .357

S&W 43c

A second S&W 327 snub.

Any interesting Ruger MKII I find, and any old model Ruger Blackhawk flattop that turns up.

M1A standard rifle.

Winchester trapper 22 magnum 16 inch

A 3" Model 13 or 65.
A 1066.
A slightly-used 915 for under $300
CCI .38 shotshells

Go to sgammo.com and sign up to be notified when cci 38/357 Shotshell becomes available. They have decent pricing and seem to have it in stock more often than anyone I've seen. I picked 10 boxes from them a while ago.

For now it will be a 3" Model 60 or a Pro Series Model 60. Unfortunately my wish list contains way more than my salary allows, at least if I want to keep my wife. And my list grows every dadgum time I get on this site. The 617-4 posted by jjbrewst1 looks like the perfect rimfire to me. I have a 617 no dash 6" but that one is perfect!!

NOT A SMITH, BUT...

A Ruger Mini 14 stainless Ranch Model w/a synthetic stock I can leave in my vehicle in case the you-know-what hits the fan when I'm away from home & I have the time/space to fight my way back to my car.

Good Luck To All Of Us In our Wishes/Dreams!

Hank M.
