What's the best OWB holster for a 2" Model 64?

Azula. 50 bucks. Can’t be beat

I really identify with this comment. My longtime goal was to find a 2.5 inch bbl model 66 and was only able to find a 64-2 so I took it. Now I think I like it just as good as a 66.

The 64 is a pleasure to shoot compared to the lightweight revolvers. Keep looking there are plenty of 2.5" 66's available. The 3" version is scarce and much more expensive. Pictured: 3" 66-2, 2.5" 66-1, and 2" 64 no dash.

IMHO, a Kramer Leather Horsehide OWB scabbard. To me, there is no better!

I agree 100% but I’m not waiting 9 months for leather anymore. I’ve waited too long for too many. And they screwed me on the last one. I’m done with em

You have some really nice revolvers! Honestly, my preference for the short barreled 66 was cosmetic. I never shoot magnum cartridges, only .38 special, so that is not an issue. I really like fully shrouded ejector rod, I like the longer cylinder as it just fills the cylinder window and looks more finished, if that makes sense. And then you have adjustable sights, but I've come to believe that adjustable sights are not as crucial on a snub nosed revolver, and fixed sights are more durable.

Having said all of that, if I came across a 2.5 inch pre-lock model 66 in good condition at a good price, I would be on it in a split second. Probably not gonna happen though because I don't buy from gun broker etc. and I'm not attending gun shows like I used to do.

Go on Google and search for C Rusty Sherrick. He used to be in Elizabethtown, PA but is now up towards the Northeast coal region. He has been making horsehide holsters for a long time. I believe he is of the Delaware Native American tribe. He makes nice stuff
