About an hour ago I started my truck
The temp was 126 in the cab.

I fed and watered the chickens and pulled up the NWS for my area

Temp 101. Wetbulb 118.

It been this way for a week.

I wish that vice president feller would have invented global cooling instead of global warming.

The good news is there is a small rain cloud heading this way. I'm sure the water will be hot and make cows shrink.

actual temp here was 80 today, now it's 78. Even that's too hot for me. My wife and I both like it cool, likely that's why our power co. keeps sending us a letter telling us we are using more that our average neighbors and lots more that the most efficient ones (I think they were not home).

98 here today, wet bulb of 104. Hotter tomorrow.
Buddy in Bend Oregon says in the 90s I think.
It's temporary and I'll be loving these temps in about 4 or 5 months.
We've got two new AC units in the house so we're good this year.

103 today and it will be hotter in the next few days. High pressure moving in and triple digits predicted for a week. I like it cooler too. 75 is perfect. We get the same letters Maple Trapper does but think this new A/C unit is more efficient.

Been a week of heat here in central Illinois too.

Wed night my truck said 104 at 5:30 p.m.

Don't think it got over 97 today. Heck last night at 11:00 p.m. it was still 88!

almost 9 pm.
