This rig has been hanging over my stove for over forty years. It's 42" long. I don't know what it is.

Since this has been hanging over your cook stove for 40 years, a place where you prepare food, and considering the proper place for a wiffle tree is underneath a horse's tail, I will be opting out of any dinner invitations at your house.

Point well taken; however, it's hanging over a rec room wood burner.

Horse wiffletree. Used to hook horses in hames to the buggy or wagon.

This is true.

I have hames my grand dad used for his team of mules.
