What's Your All Time Favorite Ice Cream Flavor?

Anything made by Beaches n Cream in Holden Beach, NC. All hand made with cream and sugar. The have a lemon poppyseed that makes you do a double take.

Don't eat ice cream on a regular basis, but my favorite is/was Blue Bell Pecan Pralines and Cream. It's not one of the flavors they're making now, though.

Rocky Road is a poor (for me) substitute.

About seventy years ago there was an ice cream parlor a few blocks from my grandparents' home in Chattanooga. They sold a lemon ice cream--not sherbet, real ice cream--that was one of the best things I ever tasted. Never encountered anything like it since.

Nowadays I can't get real homemade peach ice cream made with fresh Elberta peaches; but I can get by nicely with a really good plain vanilla or butter pecan.
