What's Your Current Favorite Food To Eat Out?

My wife thinks I'm crazy, but--Waffle House cheese and onion omelet plate with bacon and a dark waffle on the side.
I notice she always eats her share even if she grinches.
I love omelets and have eaten them at a lot of high dollar place. None come even close to WH.

We love eating the seasoned and grilled chicken at any El Pollo Loco location. This fast food chain started in California and is slowly spreading eastward. Delightful roasted chicken Mexican style. Prices are very reasonable. Quality is top-notch. I just wish they served draft beer! .... Big Cholla

I love a good spinach & cheese omelet.
We eat a lot of Salmon at my house and that Pastrami cured Salmon sound interesting. I'm googling some recipes after this.

I grew up on hamburger, chicken, and mutton. When I go out, I have fish.

Always looking for a good chickenfried Steak with Fries.

I ain't picky - none of the items mentioned so far would be crossed off my list.

But if push came to shove it would be shell fish, shrimp, oysters (half shell, fried, baked), scallops, etc, etc, etc.

I'd be standin' in THAT line, provided there's gravy on the fries. However, since I'm in the midst of a gout flare-up, the mere thought cause my left big toe to occupy its own angry, flaming zip code.

Mind if I live vicariously through you guys for a while?

Abuelo's Mexican restaurant. Thursday-Sunday has a Prime Rib like no other I have ever had. they are a chain Mexican restaurant across the Mid-West and every trip to Tulsa it is my 1st meal when I get there, you can google them and see if they are located in your state.
If you ever get a chance go!!! and their Salsa and chips could be a meal all by themselves.

La Nopalera at Oakleaf in Jacksonville, Fl is the best Mexican food I have had in the US. It actually makes me think back to visiting Mexico when I was in the Navy. You know you are about to get good Mexican food when you aren't really sure if they just understood half of what you said.

If I'm at a really good restaurant I know, a porterhouse pepper steak medium rare. Side of potatoes au gratin, served hot enough to cause third-degree burns. Second choice barbecue, third choice mexican. Only individually owned, no chains.

If I'm traveling through an unfamiliar city of any size, I find an Outback.

If I'm traveling and want breakfast? Steak and eggs with smothered hash browns at Waffle House.

A chinese buffet. Yeah I know, you get what you pay for, but I love the variety, and I could never do this at home.

I would be skinny too if I had to eat chinese food. Its okay for me maybe once or twice a year.

Caj, I hear ya on the po boys and the crabs. I love good Chinese, Mexican, and Italian. I wish we had some other ethnic cuisines here. A good Indian place would be nice. Seems like we get a good small restaurant here, it's in a terrible locale and they don't make it.
