What's your daily driver?

2012 Ford Escape AWD (for the snow, mind you) and a 2003 Nissan Altima with 155K on the odometer...still running strong. Sold my motor scooter, my motor ain't running all that great these days...felt l a tad uncomfortable in traffic. Wanted a boat, but friend got one!

2003 Crown Vic (old police cruiser). Going thru a 1980 GMC K35 4wd dually to put on the road before winter. Still have the '65 GTO for fun!!

'04 GMC Sierra 4x2. Short cab, long box, 5.3L V-8, 136K miles. Bought it new. Taking care of it. What with the price of a new truck being what it is, this one might have to last till I punch out or my keys get taken away, whichever comes first.

2015 Jeep Patriot. After all the hot cars and pickup trucks, it's all I need until I sell the house and buy the boat I want to live aboard.

The wife drives a 2010 Chrysler 300 C AWD, great car....
I drive a 2011 Cadillac CTS....
My fun ride is my 86 Corvette Convertable which I'd like to sell and can't!

Love the Hemi in the Chrysler, has some berries behind it and believe it or not that gets better gas mileage then the 6cyl. Caddy!

2008 Ford Edge with 160,000 on the ticker. I'd buy another one just like it, plenty of room, good sound, moon roof, decent gas milage, always starts.

Was my company car so I bought it a little over two years ago.

I alternate between my 1996 F250 (7.3 Powerstroke) and my 2011 F350 (6.7 Powerstoke). Dad was a diesel mechanic for CAT and I always heard "real trucks don't have sparkplugs!"

We work on call, so I get to take my work car home. Currently a 2013 Ford Explorer. It's the nicest gov car I've ever been issued, and the first one that I got brand new. When I'm not working I usually drive my '01 Vic or '03 Grand Marquis. I currently own 10 cars and trucks, so there's lots to choose from.

Truckemup, my former daily driver had 850 HP, 1790 cu. in., twin turbos, and an Allison 2 speed crossdrive transmission. It would only go about 33 mph, got 1.1 gal/mi, weighed 56.6 tons. At 20 mph we could hit a 20 mph moving target at 1500 meters. You could sleep almost anywhere on it if you were tired enough. 😁

I drive a company vehicle running around fixing copiers for Xerox. I just got rid of the ridiculously bad 2012 Ford Transit and now have a 2016 Dodge Ram Promaster which is basically the Dodge version of the Transit. The auto transmission has 9 gears which I personally find to be a couple too many.

My personal vehicle which only gets driven on the weekends or vacation is a 2012 KIA Sportage Turbo. 17,000 miles in four and a half years. One advantage to driving the company car.

Stock and just hit 47,000. It's an '04 GMC Sierra SLE

I love it. After driving beaters most of my life this one is nice. Comfey and pretty dern quick. :D:D:D

Hemi's for lunch. :D:D:D

What a difference almost five years makes. I'm still driving it and it now has 72,700. If I took a picture right now you'd only know it because the palms have gotten bigger. :D

As like many Moderators here, I am leasing this from the Forum. Lee has a GREAT fleet to choose from!! We're Mods w/benefits! Oh yeah, there's the Vacation destinations around the World too.

I'm saying this for a long time now, even posted several threads. I believe the S&W cruise ship never kicked off... or did it?

My daily driver is an 03 Silverado with 226,xxx miles on it. I haven't touched the motor, transmission, or rear end, but there are plenty of other creature comfort and cosmetic mods which have been done with OEM parts.

exterior:
2006 grill
2006 HD hood
2006 tail lights
color matched Escalade handles
GM Bed cover
2016 GMC 18" rims

Interior:

Tahoe full length center console

the old chevy

This is what I drive. '02 S-10 4.3 5 speed. It has 165K and still runs fine. Ain't had a lot of trouble with it and I have driven it 12 years. It does surprisingly well in snow for a 2WD. My wife has an '01 Toyota Highlander 4WD that is like new. We use it in the deep snow. I have a 1992 Toyota 4WD pick up that I need to go get from my Son's place that he borrowed a few years back and parked it when the fuel pump died. Probably drive that one some.
Peace,
Gordon
