I bought this 28-2 (1972 vintage) because it had diamond grips that I needed for my 25 no dash. Did a grip swap last night, and now both guns should have the correct grips.
here is my first 2012 gun, picked it up Saturday, 7 days into the new year, by all indications this is going to be another great gun year as long as my bank acct can keep up
My first gun of the year was a two tone Sig 239 in 9mm, dehorned with night sights and Bianchi minimalist holster. Also 800 rounds of S&B ammo to break it in with. This is my new favorite carry gun.
First gun of the year 627 PC picked it up on 1/6 called for a call tag same day, it arrives in Springfield today has a few issues to be fixed. At the price offered I had to buy it came with the aluminum locking case and 2 boxes of ammo.
As stated earlier in this thread, I've been looking for a nice 586 no dash. But just found and purchased this beautiful 19-3 w/ 2.5" barrel. First snubby, but won't be the last!!

My first two guns for 2012 are; (i think we can call them guns?)
I'm thinking in a shtf survival situation and we need small game for meat plus be stealthy / quiet when doing it. I have wall to wall squirrels here because i feed the deer all winter. I figure if i'm going to need meat someday i know where they been eating at.
I purchased a crosman 177" pellet pump pistol and a gamo 177" BB pistol CO2.
I'm thinking anyone hears a gun shot the'll come a running to share my game too.
With that said we all can use the target practice too at home. Plus there cheap to feed and i don't have to reload. CZY
Smith & Wesson 17-6 6" Barrel... been admiring these for years and finally found a good one It should go well with my 2 x 586 No dash revolvers, love these one s
