Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

After much consideration, last week my girlfriend bought her first gun, an Equalizer with the thumb safety. I couldn't let her be the only one to get a new toy, so I bought the M&P 2.0 Compact in 9mm that was sitting next to the Equalizer in the gun shop case. Both guns shoot great, very pleased with our purchases.

Haven't installed 'em yet but I did get a set of Warren sights for my Compact. First time giving them a try, choose the fiber optic front and black rear sights. Not a fan of the white dots but I have to admit I can hit with them.

HW30S pellet rifle.

I just received my forth HW30S pellet rifle this year, and this one is in .20 Caliber. I have others in both .177 and .22 caliber as well. Great back yard shooters.

3 rounds for a buck for SD ammo = SCORE!
These days you should consider yourself lucky to get range fodder for that price.

You need to follow that up with buying a couple of lotto tickets. :D

Stopped by the same pawn shop I did a couple days ago. Picked up 4 boxes of 280 Rem Ammo and a 50 rd box of Federal 357 mag SJSP $60 OTD. Also, couldn't leave without this clean Colt Cobra for $600 OTD. $660 for all this happiness.

I stopped by the local gun shop down the block from me just to say hello. They rarely have things I'm interested in, but have been a fantastic resource for selling things on consignment that I no longer have a fancy for.
In the case was a chrome Raven P-25, as new with no signs of ever having been fired, with original box, all paperwork, and the original Pennsylvania paperwork from 1980. Well, I am a sucker for an older piece with everything like that, so I asked "How much?" I was anticipating something around $125...... The answer came back "$70.00." I said sold! Anything like that for that price will come home. Yes, it's a total misfit for me, but the price was quite right.

Went a little crazy the last couple of weeks...

Arken Optics had a 25% off sale, so I picked up an EPL 6-24x50, their new 'lightweight' series with Japanese glass. It went on my Tikka T1X .22lr to replace a Mueller 8-32x44 target scope.

Huge increase in light and clarity compared to the Mueller, which is admittedly a cheap optic. I continue to be amazed at Arken's quality and clarity at this price point. They are as good or better than many optics I have looked at/through that are over twice the price.

Pretty good results as well, when I do my part... 50yd 5 shot group with CCI SV:

I've also been getting frustrated with my TacSol 1911 .22 conversion, so I picked up one of the Colt/Walther/Umarex 1911s in .22lr. Considering the whole gun cost less than the TacSol conversion, I'm hoping it runs as well as the online reviews would indicate.

A Laugo Arms Alien set up for Open Competition.

The pistol features a Laugo Optic, compensator, thumb rest, and a "winged charging handle"

(For anyone shooting an Alien, I strongly suggest the charging handle, it makes life a lot easier.)

I was out cruising yesterday and stopped in at two new gun shops that opened up. At the second shop there was a Sig Sauer Romeo Green Dot optical sight in the case. Being that I have that model sight on my primary .22 target pistols and the price was right, I decided it was prudent to have a spare around the house so the sight came home with me.

Wellll...I did a thing. Matched pair of AYA No. 53 E sidelocks in 12 and 20. 1972 manufacture, ordered by a gentleman who recently passed away. Improved cylinder and modified on both. I will post pics when I can....

Bought new GP100 357 Magnum , Hogue Cocobolo Ruger grips 100 rds .357 Flat Point 158 gr , 200 rds .45 ACP 200 gr Freedom Munitions. Wanted a good grade pre lock 581/686 but priced are crazy high.

In the last few days I picked up a couple of new pieces...

Colt 2000 All American with the almost mythical short barrel and bushing kit. I thought for many years these were only in their sales catalog and never actually produced until I actually caught one in the wild.

I stopped by a small hole-in-the-wall gun store that always seems to have something for me to take home...this time was no different. They had this pair of Interarms Virginian Dragoon revolvers in .44 Magnum. One is an IHMSA model with a 10.5" barrel and the other a 6" barrel. They're pretty massive revolvers and I've always thought they were undervalued in the market. Both are in excellent shape other than some stock wear.
