When do you "like a post"

It's kind of a feeling thing, rather than something that has set guidelines. I think if you searched forum history it is to give people a way of agreeing with the poster without having a bunch of posts that simply say "I agree" or "Plus 1".

If it makes me laugh, you'll probably get a "like" from me. If it's a picture of a Bald Eagle, you'll definitely get one. :D

When I effin' feel like it.

Dogs, knives, guns, motorcycles, food, cigars, beer, booze, books, movies, the West, the Midwest, lutefisk, tractors, are all subjects that may garner a "like".

Golf, never.

Never? EVER? :D

Don't make me break out the photo of Paula hugging a puppy!

I tried but it just LIKES more

I tried liking this post, then removing my like, and my like went away. Then I liked it again to re-establish my true feelings about the post, and my like reappeared but the other button changed over to read: "Make up your mind already!"

I think this button was invented by the Big Gorilla. :D

My likes tend to increase with the lateness of the hour and the number of like-enhancing beverages imbibed. :)

(If I'm not careful, I'm liable to like myself right into a sleep-deprivation study or rehab, whichever comes first.)

Kidding, of course. There's plenty to like here on the Forum without staying up late or anything associated with doing so. :D

My standards for likes are rather relaxed, but still as genuine as can be. Heck, I'd even like myself now and then if there was a button for it.

I have received "likes" as a means to being brought back into a conversation when further comment may be warranted - like when a third party says something and my buddy wants to see me try not to be benched for 3 days.:D

This is sometimes known as "stirring the pot".

There are three....

There are three types of posts:

Those I like

Those I don't like

Those that are neutral, no feeling either way.

============

Those that I like I will like invariably.

The neutral ones I can either like or ignore

I hardly ever like the posts I don't like.

I hope this is helpful.:D
