The OP says he has a sickness, which is synonymous with disease. I don't agree with this. Diseases make people feel sick. They can also cause pain and be life-threatening. I don't see any evidence from all of the above posts that this behavior is causing any of these problems. In fact, the opposite is true. It appears that everyone seems to have an improved quality of life and also derive great pleasure from from collecting these beautiful weapons.

So, I think we should think of a new name for this condition, one with a positive connotation.

There is absolutely no use in us trying to start a support group to stop. I can see it now ...during and after meetings , guys in the parking lot, car trunks open, we would be buying, selling and trading with each other.

Enablers just don't know how to do interventions .
