reminded me how old I am. (86)

I guess that's what got me started reminiscing this morning,
looking at old photos, and remembering the good times. And
I have had a lot of good times. A good life.

Thought perhaps some my friends wouldn't mind seeing some
of my old photos.

Here are 5, left to right:

Me with my kitty cat, probably between 1 & 2 years old. If
anyone can identify the car let me know.

Me as a casual at Kelly AFB 1952 awaiting assignment after
completing months of training. I was still 17.

My dear departed wife of sixty years, Ann as she was when
we met.

Here I am sometime in the 1970s working hard to make ends
meet. (Commercial Real Estate)

Me about 2003. I wanted to learn enough cords to record all
of my old favorite country songs. And I did it.

The car is a 1933 Plymouth. My granddad had one. The others I don't know.

my Dad telling about owning a Plymouth when they were coming
out of the depression, He couldn't make payments, and it was repossessed.

I can remember Dad telling me that on a few occasions back in the 40's and 50's when he couldn't make a car payment he would trade it off and get another one. I guess you could do that back then.

Ole Joe my granddaughter borrowed my guitar so she could take lessons
and never returned it. I don't know what the make of it was, don't know
if I ever knew.

Love the Cessna. 1959 or 1960 172A? I had a 1962 172B, same plane except it had a swept tail. Loved the manual flaps and despised the electric ones in later models.

My Cessna was a 175. Kind of a rare bird.
A little bit faster cruising speed than a 172.
Better short field performance than the 172.
I saw quite a few up in Anchorage, Alaska
with pontoons at the Lake Hood seaplane base.

I see it now. I thought that the picture had a bit of distortion, but now see the more elongated shape of the nose. I have only seen one Skylark in person, and it was a 62 model with the same swept tail as my Skyhawk.
