When Single what was your "Chick Magnet"

1973 MG Midget, a very small ride but a lot of fun; the money I saved on gas was spent on motel rooms (if you know what I mean).

1970 Triumph GT 6+ and my winning personality.
Nice ride and I always helped the ladies in and out.

Ghostbusters?

Howdy,
This goes back before the movie. Mid seventies?
Wyatt Burp ought to enjoy this!

It had world class sound and ride. Two tone Firemist Caddy green with red pinstripes and a live alligator loose in the back some of the time.
People either loved it or hated it.
It was a hoot.
How could anyone that goofy ever find a woman?
Thanks Mike

59 Pontiac Catalina 389 Tri Power

I had this ride when I was a senior in HS in 1961.

It had navy blue & white tuck & roll, & 2 speed tarps I would change out for a different look. Baby moon caps, wheels painted navy blue to match interior.

Later I traded it in for a 62 Chevy 409, 409 HP Impala SS, black & black, 4.56 positraction ,4 Spd. That was nice too!:)

You're right. I've always thought it would be great to drive around in a hearse, ever since I saw Harold and Maude as a kid. Very nice!

In grade school, and in my first years of high school, Fritz was my "chick magnet." Girls just couldn't resist him!

This was my "chick magnet" when I was a senior in high school and through my junior year in college. The best things about this old '50 chev were that it was roomy on the inside, and that the inside door handle on the passenger side didn't work. Fade to the Beach Boys singing I get around...

But my real "chick magnet" was this '65 Sting Ray acquired in 1969. Unfortunately, I was married by then. Fortunately, my wife liked it, too!

Not a danged thing and my love life showed it.

It was not uncommon for me to have to drive 300 miles on a date. From my ranch to her's, then to town to a movie, back to her place and then home.

In the morning, the old man would kick me out of bed and say. "If you got enough gumption to stay out all night, I reckon you've got enough left to go fencin'! Git Up!!

Harley and Hot Rods! My Pop was a hot-rodder and race car (dirt) driver. He always had cool cars and motorcycles. And the chicks my age and their Moms (Pops age) were always walking by his garage. I got my first Harley , a '64 XLCH Sportster from a family friend at 16 for $500. It was in boxes and the frame & sheetmetal was in red lead primer. It became a father/son project and I got my learners permit at the same time I got my car permit. I could drive my beat up old Chevy van to school at 17 , but the school wouldn't let me park the bike on school grounds. So I kept it at a girls house that lived behind the school. All the free-spirited , long haired hippie chicks loved it , er , us.

when i was 22 in 1996 I bought a 1965 corvette for 13k. 327/350 4 spd.. dang i loved thar car. sold it for almost double that a few years later to help finance a house. wish i still had it. was fast and loud. took more than a few ladies for an evening ride in the hills "to look at the city lights" as you may know its a cramped cabin, so extensive partying took place elsewhere but the vette helped lay the groundwork for me

it sure wasnt my movie star good looks or bill gates bank account !

I'll tell you what magnetized me: We had gotten a big snowfall and I heard "scrape, scrape, scrape" out on the apartment walkway. I went outside to see who was there and it was Charlie (who lived at the other end of the building and who I hadn't yet met) shovelling the entire walk out to the parking lot. I said, "That's the man for me!"

Snow shovels. ;)
