When was it made?

Yesterday I collected my " New" S & W Mod.686-6 with the serial number BJB1480, can somebody tell me when this was made? I have also a problem in getting the parts #23 and #24 for it, both Brownell and Midway do not have them.

It looks like your 686 was made in 1992.

Something don't jive. The M686-6 started in 2001.

Do you have the box for your "New" revolver handy?

If so tell us the Spec Ord number on the end label and we can tell give you an exact date instead of a guestimate
