I'm tired of buying the gun grease that comes in a tube with a syringe top to apply. I have a garand and one of the websites has a grease applicator filled with red Mobil 1 grease. I checked Walmart and the Mobil 1 they have looks black. I have some empty syringes that I used to use to squirt medicine into my dogs throat. So where can I get the red Mobil 1 grease?

Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease should be available at auto parts stores, Amazon, and Wally World should have it just make sure it the synthetic grease that is the red one NLGI GC-LB specifications.

On my Garand I use the Military Grease (Lubriplate from Brownells 14 Oz. for less than $10 Bucks) and a cheap horse hair brush (100 in a pack from Harbor Freight for $2.99). It has lasted me as long as I've owned my Garand and I'll never need to buy another can. The best part is that this is what the Military had intended the Garand's to be greased with.

I bought a one pound container of high temp moly grease in 1977. It gets used any time grease is required on my firearms. I've got about a half pound left. My opinion is that any grease will work as long as it's used in the right place. My Garands have never complained.
