Where is member Sig220.45?

Here's one for you....

The P220 came out in 1975 to replace the Sig 210. Officially adopted by Switzerland in 1975. It was a single stack 9mm with a heel release mag

This one is from 1976 and comes from the Geneva Switzerland Police department.

Now if I could just find the unobtanium mags for under $150

Very nice. I never understood the pinched down nose unless it was to be a weight savings. IIRC they first came out in 9mm, 38 Super then .45. Good luck with you mag search.

Yep the 9 was first. ...to replace the 210 which was also a 9.

Also, I have a 95 W. German 220 in 45acp as well.
