I took my 629-1 to the range today and remembered how much I enjoyed shooting it. I bought it for use as a "house gun". I figured I could load it with 44 spl's and I would have a gun that would be ultra reliable and easy to control.
However, the trigger is heavy and "jerky" and I want to send it somewhere to have the action smoothed out and tuned. Who is would be a good person / shop to check with? If nothing else I figured I could send it back to S&W and have their people do the work but I wanted to make sure that there wasn't someone else I should be looking at.
Thank you in advance.
