where the he'll is all the ammo?

Obama is a socialist and anyone who is just now figuring that out hasn't been paying attention. He is marching to the tune of his socialist ideology and I'm amazed that anyone is actually surprised.

The republicans are not without blame. They paved the way for Obama.Within the last few years,it's been hard to tell the two parties apart.

There is an old adage which says "whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger".Hopefully,a lot of what's going on will wake more people up.Perhaps this will be the shock treatment people need.

where the he'll is all the ammo?

Around here, I can get my hands on 9mm, 45 acp, and 38/357 with some regularity. It isn't on the shelf every time I look for it, but it probably is every other time. The stuff that's just plain impossible to buy is 380. I had no idea it was such a popular caliber.

"We may not even be, or have, a country left by the time the left wing gets done destroying our great land".

Dubya took a healthy, vibrant economy, handed over from Bill, and proceeded to run it into the ground. BTW, he'll go down as one of the worst presidents in history. Get off your fairy tale soapbox.

Ya'll get a chance send me one of your tinfoil hats so those energy/gamma ray beams won't harm me.

On a brighter note I'm seeing more ammo @ waly world...

Of course! Everything wrong with the entire world economy is all Bush's fault!

He single handedly did it all.

I'm not sure that's true. The dotcom bubble had already burst in 2000. If you check all stock market indices were down in 2000 (Clinton's last year in office). Barrons had an article that year about the so-called budget surplus under Clinton, and how it was all smoke and mirrors. The economy really took a hit after 9-11, and IMHO Bush handled that pretty well to get the US economy back on it's feet after such a devastating (in more ways than one) blow.

I'm not a fan of many of Bush's views on social issues, but I think history will be kind to him.

OK, I'm stirrin' the pot some and you can't, and I don't, hold GW responsible for 9-11.
There's always two or three differing versions of everything it seems, yet I don't think history will be kind to the man. Doesn't matter what I think, but I grow weary of folks wanting to blame someone that had this crap dumped in their lap giving the appearance that they might ruin America w/o giving credit that the place was in the terlit when he took over.
Sorry for continuing the rant in your ammo thread and won't comment again here unless specifically ammo related.

I just got back from Walmart and missed their monthly shipment of 9mm Winchester ammuition by just a few minutes. The store clerk said people bought by the case, not single boxes. The last thing the clerk said, "As soon as Obama got in office, we can't keep it in stock."

On a footnote: While I was typing this, my friend just called and a gun shop in Nashville wanted $38 for a white box Winchester 9mm 115 grain jhp and he walked out. Supply and demand!

I know where it is all going.... People are buying it up because in my opinion they think it is going to be the new "gold". I was in a store the other day to pick up a box of 40 cal. and saw that there was only a few boxes on the shelf. I made a comment to the clerk that I know and she said that a gentleman bought 1002.00 worth of ammo the day before essentially wiping them out of all calibers. She tried to get the manager to limit the sale so others could buy ammo also but he said he couldn't. I don't know about you but I don't have an extra 1000.00 lying around. I have heard from different gun owners that they are buying extra to "sell" in the future and it really p***es me off.

Typical liberal kool-aid drinker

obama didn't have this "crap" handed to him or have it land in his lap. Wake up man, he ran for this crap. He knew what was what, while running. His whole stance was that he would fix things. In his first fifty days of office, he has spent more money that all the other presidents in history combined!! He has people scared. No one knows just exactly what this nut job will do next.

He is a socialist bent on changing the makeup of this country. He wants the people disarmed to prevent them from rising up in defiance and booting his sorry butt from power! That's why there isn't any ammo! People want to get what they can while they can.

It isn't a fairy tale either. You voted for the man who will become the worst president in history.

When the country is bankrupt, and everyone is either out of work, or close to it, those who have ammo will need it to fend off those like you who voted for this mess.

That's where the ammo is.

My friend came back from an exhausting day trying to find ammunition. The gun shops gave him the same reason for the high prices and low supplies, Obama! People think Obama may eliminate or limit ammunition sales in the future, which is causing people to panic and hoard ammunition.

Oh, and for the record, I voted for McCain!

Good to hear about your vote, and Welcome to the forum!! Your point is right on the money. Those who argue it know that they're wrong, They just want to stir up trouble, or defend the fact that they have chosen...poorly.

It ~is~ amazing. I went by the local Bass Pro this morning to pick up some 38 Special and all they had was ball ammo, and not much of that!

All of the Winchester white box .223 that was there last week, about 10,000 rounds more or less, was GONE.

Just went to the local Walmart here in Towson and found 2 100rd Win. boxes of 9mm FMJ. I feel so lucky today. Like I just found a prize. At least I have something to shoot this weekend.

You guys got me so worried about ammo that I just bought two 100-round boxes of WWB .380 at Walmart.

(I don't own a .380.)

Maybe someday I can trade it for .38 special.

.380 ball is one of the items almost impossible to find right now.

I don't have a 380 coz I have a Makarov. I know one waly world locally is limiting ammo to two boxes a caliber as I understand.

Even though some waly worlds don't sell guns, they all sell ammo or so I'm told.
9mm Blazer 8.97
40 '' 12.47
45ACP'' 14.97
40 umc 180GN 16.47
9MM wwb 10.97
40 '' 165GN 16.97
40 '' 100CT 27.97
Trucks come in every night and it's a matter of checking back w/them. They never know what caliber or if they're going to recieve any until it gets there.
Happy hunting!

Gun 4 fun, you are @ best dancing on the borderline of paranoid schizophrenia. That ilk you crap stinks to high heaven, but it does make for some entertaining reading material. Do come back and tell me more of what your voices say to you...

I was in my local gunshop today as I usually am on Sat mornings. In fact, I have been visiting this shop for almost 35 years. Today he was out of 380, 38sp, 9mm and 45 auto. He is suppose to be getting some 380 this week, but no idea as to when the other stuff will show up.

I went by my local Dicks sporting goods store and found quite a selection of ammo.In fact everything but 9mm was in.I bought some .357's and .40 cal.But if there is anyone that needs .38's try this site www.tds-us.com
When you get there click pistol ammo then click on assorted carry ammo.they have federal classic le 125 grain +p .38's for $20.00 a box of 50.I bought 3 boxes that should arrive within 5 days.Total plus shipping was $71.05.
