Superfly for J-frame
I just went thru this same process, having ordered a Super Fly from Amazon which said the M44BNJ3Z0 was the Super Fly model that fits a S&W J-frame. But when it arrived, the package said, "Colt Detective Special, LCR, SP101." Not J-frame, as some of you have already noted. So I asked DeSantis, and got this reply back from Customer Relations Supervisor Ashley Jackson: "The correct item number for the S&W J frame is M44BJ02Z0, the item number you currently have is M44BJN3Z0 which is made to fit the models listed on the package you mentioned." This was in October of 2011, so clearly the 44BNJ3Z0 did not replace the 44BJ02Z0. My AirLite Ti (1.85" barrel) sat a bit high in the 3Z0 and the barrel ended half an inch above the bottom of the holster. So I returned it to Amazon (they paid freight and gave me a refund) and ordered the M44BJ02Z0 from Optics Planet for $27.49. They then reported that it is out of stock but due in 5-10 days. But they do carry it. Amazon offers it, for more money, but their vendor is also Optics Planet. OP direct will give you free shipping if you spend another $2.50 or so on the same order (to make it $30). So a bottle of Hoppes might be in order. Hope this helps clarify the issue. By the way, I already have a Super Fly for my Sig 238 and it is terrific with or without the flap. I recently carried it (flap on) in the front pocket of my jeans for five days while Jeeping in Moab with a friend who is a retired police detective. When I mentioned I was armed, he looked me over, all around, and then said, "no way!" This from someone trained to note hidden weapons. That's when I decided to replace my Uncle Mikes J-frame pocket holster with another Super Fly.
