Cruiser RN, that link is for Pro-Mags, not S&W factory; from personal experience, I would stay away from Pro-Mags. Do a search on them and you'll find a LOT of negative feedback. Factory or Mec-Gar are the only magazines I will buy (and many factory mags these days are in fact Mec-Gar mags).

All the places I usually buy from are out of stock for S&W 3913 mags - CDNN, Midway, Natchez, Andean, Outdoor Marksman.

Able Ammo has the S&W factory mags in stock, but they're a little expensive - $37.91

I am sorry to put wrong link up this one is the correct one http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?s...id=195403&t=11082005

Bingo ! Thanks Cruiser !

I purchased a Pro Mag for my 439 a couple of weeks ago. Metal finish is good, spring and follower are pretty sad.

Spring is so weak that when you put the Pro Mag in the weapon with a round in the chamber and 8 in the mag, after the round in the chamber is fired the slide will not pick up the top round in the mag, or any other one.

NOT HAPPY with PRO MAG

Why not just order from the factory? 1-800-331-0852.

I received CDNN's catalog a few weeks ago and they list 3913 mags on page 79 for $29.99. These have the flat bottom. I "assume" they are new because they are listed with used 4013 mags that cost $16.99.

Yes, but they're out of stock now - as is every other place.

FWIW:

CDNN "generally" has these in stock. (I bought several recently.) These are factory mags, all have the flat buttplate.

Just because CDNN might be out of stock on the mags you want when you call them means absolutely nothing as their stock is constantly being renewed. Try again a day or two later.

Fingertip extensions for these mags may be ordered directly from S&W, but chances are they'll be on back order and take a few weeks to get to you. They aren't very expensive and work great.

Pro-Mags suck.. I recommend you stick with either factory mags, or MecGar mags only.. MecGar is the manufacturer of many factory mags and are every bit as good as the originals imo.

Best Wishes,

Jesse

J&G Sales lists VG condition factory mags w/ finger rest in stock, &29.95.
