Where to get a Smith and Wesson Survival Knife reconditioned?

I have a S&W survival knife and want to get the brass and the hand end reconditioned. Does anybody know of someone that does that? Thanks.

Is there a makers name on it? The factory where it was made is usually the best place to get a production knife reconditioned unless it was Tiawan or China, etc. I don't know your location but if you googled custom knife makers, you'd probably find one in your area who might do it.

While we are on this subject, What about reconditioning the scabbard for a Survival Knife? I have one with a broken snap on the strap.

One the knife, I used Brasso on my pommel followed by a light coat of lacuer. It looks good, but I am not sure how long it will last.
