No not safe in that sense, safe as in gun safe info. The one referenced with a video discussing various safes. We're in the market for something better than our existing one that's too small.

Buy one 10 times the size of what you think you need.

Exactly! I wanted the next size up but the wife said no. Now I am going to have to spend $1500-$2000 for another one.:D I bought my safe back in the late 90's, its a Liberty that weighs 750lbs. OP- please listen to us when we say " buy the biggest one that you can afford". You won't regret it.

It is clearly in a very safe location.

Exactly, I delivered another 1100lb 24 gun safe yesterday for a gentleman. The sad part is that was his 3rd gun safe in his home. The best part about this is......I had to move that huge gun safe up a big set of stairs that was 10 feet off the ground. Dont let anyone tell u a safe is ever too big, lol.

OK, I've got a question. Since the safe weighs ~800lbs and we have ceramic tile floors on concrete (TX thing since no basement) how do we/they (safe delivery peeps) not crack the tile floor when rolling it in?

Thanks...now I know how to get it out. Now, can you show me where the hidden front door key is?

Just lay down a few thin pieces of plywood across the tile. It helps distribute the weight across a broader area. But make sure u have a nice planned route and dont leave the safe sitting on the tile area. Start moving and keep moving until ur off the tile area.
