Spent last week at my time share in Nags Head. Their internet filters would not let me access any sites pertaining to "weapons". I think it was Sonic or something. Ya never know what withdrawl feels like until you've experienced it. Did I miss much? Nice to be back.

You need to learn how to use TORweb or proxy servers. It fixes the problem of filters.

I was surprised and pleased to find that gun forums are readily accessible on the wifi network at the J Graham Brown Cancer Center in Louisville. Fast, too.

They took a lightning hit a couple of years ago and have gone through several different companies trying to get their internet access right. It's still hit or miss and sometimes doesn't work at all. I'm sure by the time we get back down there they will be using a different company with different software so who knows? This filter was different from the one they were using in July. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Dont' know how it is now, but when I was at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center about 10 years ago, I could get into any of the gun sites on their computers in the rec rooms.

Hey Cajun, it's 100 miles and 2 hours away. The weather was great and it was not crowded at all. We got a great deal on this time share a few years ago and it's nice to have some time for just the boss-lady and me. BTW, we were doing Nags Head before it was the "in" place to go. They kept it a secret from all those Yankees as long as they could.

I'm a little lost here - you mean to tell me there are places where you get on the internet and can't access sites that you could a few miles down the road??
