Which 45 Auto Rim brass is best

I have r-p and some pmc headstamped ar brass I rotate thru, haven't lost any in quite a few loadings. Just don't overwork the brass in the dies, it should hold up for a long time. I don't really see any difference between the two. Don't know if pmc makes their own brass.

All of my 45AR brass is Remington, but it's from the late 70s and early 80s, with four boxes of brass from 1950s factory loads.

My notes show that I've gotten as many as 14 loadings from a couple boxes of the R-P brass without cracking, but I only bell the mouth as much as is needed and not a thousandth more. Also, I barely crimp the bullets and they haven't backed out or seated deeper with recoil, either.

I recently bought a quantity of PMC 45AR but have not had the chance to work with it yet. The weight of the PMC is heavier than that of the R-P cases.

I've had no experience with Starline 45AR, but their 32-20 brass is great stuff.

I use .45 ACP dies with an AR shell holder. That combination produces a taper crimp on a barely expanded case mouth and produces results similar to yours.
