Which 460 XVR? Standard or Perf Ctr.?

So I've been hunting with a 2008 purchase I have loved, the Perf Ctr 44 Magnum in my son's hands below. Back then that was S&W's Stealth Hunter; now, I believe a different .44 Mag wears that name. I have a Leupold 2x20 pistol scope.

This year I want to buy a 460 XVR /.45 Colt/.454 Casull. I have it narrowed down to either the standard with full lug barrel, or the Perf Ctr version also pic'd below. They are about $300 apart in price.

I would prefer the standard version with the shorter full-lug 8" barrel, and I like the Galco Kodiak rig that's made for it scoped. But, are there reasons I should go with the Performance Center version? Does it have features, action, or build process the standard does not?

They are both equally accurate. Now the obvious, the PC gun has an integrated rail and will afford you little faster velocity. It also allows of use with a bi-pod. PC trigger pull is typically smother and lighter than standard models.

Thanks Ruggy - yes, I have found one of each at a gun store a couple of hours North of me, I suppose I'll take a drive soon.

Since I'll obviously be using the 460 single action, I would hope this time with either selection to avoid the post-purchase trip to a revolver smith I have had to do with my last two Perf Ctr purchases (627 UDR and 586 L-Comp) to smooth out the double action.
