Which mags do you prefer? I know options are limited in the poll, so please specify brand/make in the comment area below. Included good and bad experiences.
My aluminum mags have worked fine but just aren't as refined, they are relegated to SHTF storage. Never had any steel ones.
I like using polymer mags better, they just seem to load and feed a bit smoother than metal types. I like the pmags because of their durability, the followers and the dust/impact covers. But I also like the Troy battlemags - they are a good durable polymer with good followers but also a bit slimmer than the pmags and the scaled grip on them is really nice.
For target shooting use I reach for the battlemag more, but have stocked up on Pmags because I do believe they are a bit more rugged.
