The parts books lists a .160" blade for your model 29. I believe these listed part numbers are for individual parts, not the "kits".

I appreciate that. I have replaced rear sight blades many years ago but after reading the instructions I don't think my tremors will allow me to do something that intricate. My alternative is replacing the whole assembly w/.160 already installed. I can do that.
If you can't find an entire assembly, I'd be happy to install your new blade into your existing sight body for you. It would require the hassle of shipping of course, but no other charges.
Brownells used to sell the blade, new screw, plunger and nut in one whack, but I'm not sure they are still available.
Weigand sells one, but it's not exactly like the factory slide.....and you would still need a new screw and nut.
