Hey folks, I'm new to Ar-15s and since I like being prepared I'm wondering what replacement parts y'all think would be good to stock up on...

A complete set of springs, detents, and pins for the lower. I have a complete set of bolt parts, plus a complete bolt so I can replace small things like the extractor and/or ejector and their springs at my convenience and just drop in the new bolt until later.

M.S. nailed it.

I replace springs before they break. I've got a couple of "Care Packs" put together for each one. Plus I keep several individual small parts (detent followers, buffer retainers, and the like) on hand too.

I'm a sometime hunter, paper punching, varminter so mine don't see rough conditions.

I do believe in preventive maintenance.

Can someone post links to what we need for MP15's? I'm sure many including me would appreciate it!

Many folks just stock a second (or third, fourth, fifth...) rifle. ;)

Any parts that you can get at a reasonable price right now would be a good idea. The panic buying is drying up all the supply lines for everything.

I bought DPMS parts from joe bob's called an "Oh Shoot" parts kit, then also a BCG repair kit. Thats what I have
