I'm trying to figure out what my next one should be..... Since I have a 442 with a broken hammer stud back at the factory right now. I'm hoping they replace it or give me an opportunity to pay more and get a steel model. Or trade up for one when I get it back.
And not to be a killjoy but I'm also looking at LCR's or SP101's cuz I'm not really sure I like how Smith has been handling things. We'll see what they do in the end. But I've been told they are not obligated to cover it under warranty because I wasn't the first owner. Which I guess is true but it was my Step Dad's gun.... And I hope hey don't reward his and my loyalty to them by giving me the shaft.
Anyways... I really like having the hammer on my 637 for when I holster the gun I can put my thumb on it. And I shot the 637 really well. At first I thought I'd rather have a 649, but I do not mind the exposed hammer.
So for you 60 owners, I would love to see pics and get your input. I googled pics for 60's and for some reason there was not a lot of what I'd consider great photos of 60's coming up. I think stainless is harder to photograph than blued but would anyways.... Would love to see and here about your 60's. Mainly new but older is fine in here too.
