When I have so much free. Dramma around me.(Swamp people neighbors) Also there is a face book thing locally called Swip Swap you can list things for sale or services. Kinda sorta like craiglist will some of or more here of the craziness. I saw today a couple that had ad on doing lawn service. Seemed they went to one customer mowed their lawn. The aggrement was for $35.00 the women let them cut the lawn trys to stiff them and pulls a rifle on them to boot. See why should I spend money for Tv :D:D:D

It would be nice to be able to pick only what channels you want as opposed to hundreds of useless ones in their packages. A few sports channels, Travel channel, and the three that always have Blue Bloods and Law and Order for the wife, and I'm good.
Only time I watch the local channels is during hurricane weather situations, which is about once every other year.

I get so many free channels with movies even so the heck with paying to watch.
OP you must live the nut ward of your city. Well I guess they really are all nut wards. I wonder did they go back to the woman to see if she had any more guns? She might have a collection.

Yep with satellite TV I get 160 channels of which half are in a language I don't comprehend. Also so many channels have the same shows or movies on them. In order to watch drag racing and ESPN I had to buy the most expensive pack. Took that sucker off the roof.

From Spectrum I get their best Internet but the lowest Basic cable.

I use my own cable modem.

If I watch TV at all it's mostly cable news.

I have Amazon Prime and a Smart TV so Free video is available if I'm in the mood.
My son likes baseball so I subscribe to MLB.TV.Some years it's free from T-Mobile.
My wife is a you tube watcher so the smart tv again offers this.

I also have a Google Chromecast that works great sending images and video from our Android phones/tablets and Windows PCs using Chrome browser to the TV.

No one in my household is a couch potato so the TV isn't on often.

I spend a lot of time at the range, maintaining my firearms, reloading and reading this forum so there's not a heck of a lot of time available for the boob tube.

A la Carte cable tv would be a good thing for consumers but the cable providers may never offer it unless they can make greater profits and that would defeat it's merits.
