Who still daily drives and has hand crank windows

It's not my daily driver, but my old Chevy has crank windows and vent windows, stick shift, floor mounted bright light pedal, no power assists.

I still have three crank pencil sharpeners! One is a Boston and the other two are Berol's. I do have an electric one that I use but it's too fragile and cumbersome for a workshop, garage and requires an outlet.

The last time I owned a vehicle with crank windows was in 1976! DO I miss them? - Nope!

When I had the small pickups you could just reach over and roll a window or unlock the door. But when I returned to the world of full size vehicles, and mandated seatbelts, the passenger door is too far to reach without a major expedition! My last S-10 was a 1995. The passenger crank window had the regulator mess up and was close to $200 to replace the regulator. So I wired the window closed and survived that way the last 4 years I owned it. The hinge pins on the drive's door also failed, and the motor quit running, so it was defiantly time to replace it! 185K on a disposable truck ain't too bad! But the Silverados are just broken in at 200K and 300 to 350K sems to be the new normal! When you run any vehicle that long these days, the small things just wear out. (20 years on any fan motor or door lock is a very long time!)

Last new vehicle I bought, that had hand crank windows, was a 1984 F-150. Is it even possible to buy a truck without electric windows these days?

My 2004 Jeep Wrangler X with the 4.0 I-6, 5-speed manual, and crank windows has been my DD for over 18 years and over 270K miles. I ordered it new from Chrysler and plan on keeping it well into the future.

RE: Crank Windows

I have a 2006 4X4 Silverado. No frills model wirh rubber mats, cloth seats,
manual 4X4 engage lever and crank windows.
The crank window on the driver's side is not user friendly, but I manage. And I can't slide my butt on the cloth seats, but I manage with the old technology and don't have any car payments.
On Star notified my wife that after January she won't have any service because of 5G upgrades. The alternative is get a smartphone and the New APP.
I am still using a flip phone, no APPs. No TEXT, No TV, No Games. I had to up grade with 5G but not to a smart phone...yet.
After getting a Recall Service on the 2010 Suburban the local dealer has been bugging my wife to trade in. When it finally fives up the ghost I might think about it. Right now payments on a $72,000 vehicle does not interest me.
