Who still uses a hanky?

I carry and use a bandana everyday. They are usually red or blue but sometimes they are different colors. When I use it to blow my nose or sneeze it goes back in my hip pocket.
Question---what do people do with a handful of those cheap, thin paper Kleenex after they use them?

Same thing we do with used toilet paper - throw them away. They are after all, biodegradable. Or you can save them to use as a fire starter. Or put a bunch of them in the mail box of someone you don't like. :D

I always carried one when i was working to offset the balance of my wallet. I used to be a heavy equipment operator and always had back aches until I had a bad cold and carried a hanky and realized it helped with lower back pain so i carried on until I retired. now I don't carry wallet often so no problem

I've carried a large handkerchief all my life, but I mostly blow my nose on tissues if available. A large square of cotton fabric can be useful for many things other than a nose wipe. I've bandaged a bloody hand, filtered water prior to a finer filter, muzzled an injured dog, etc.

The old man tried to get me to haul one around for years-gave them to me for Christmas; I've probably still got some in an un opened box! I just couldn't figure out where to carry the things (?) I thought that carrying them in my back pocket would make my butt look big. I had a real hang up about that when I was younger. Turns out that I had a normal butt, but by the time I figured that out, it really didn't matter. Oh and, when in the woods, beware of the poison ivy toilet paper yall.

Golly, to be honest, I can't remember when I didn't carry a bandanna in my back pocket.

There are at least 101 reasons to have a bandanna in your pocket, probably the least of which is blowing your nose.

You can use them to clean your glasses. They're great when you accidentally cut yourself on the barbed wire fence and need something to slap on the cut. You can use them to wipe off the blade of your pocket knife. They're a passable pot holder when removing a hot skillet off the stove. I've even used them when a grandchild asked me to pull his loose tooth...it gave me a firmer grip.

And I can't count the number of times in my old life when a clean bandanna was used to wipe the tears of a fair young damsel.

I don't know how many I have in my drawer, but there are enough in there where I always grab a clean one at the start of every day.

I don't always remember to carry one but, do so often. A bandana is something I wear around my neck during high-power matches to keep the Sun from making me look like a lobster.

Most of my bandanas have been supplied by Bonnaroo!
