I'm familiar with "Finding Pvt Ryan" and "Forrest Gump". Is it a combination of the two or a sequel perhaps? "Finding Pvt Forrest Gump"

I've heard of this one but never seen it.

If you want an award winning sports movie? try: Pride of the Yankees w/Gary Cooper, Walter Brennan, Dan Duryea//one of three movies he was in where he didn't die// and the real, Babe Ruth and Gentleman Jim w/ Errol Flynn, Alan Hale sr. and Ward Bond. One is baseball, the other is boxing==both are great movies.

Definitely a great movie that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling after watching it. I haven't seen it in years but will look for it if they are replaying on the tellie. JD Salinger was an "inspiration" for Connery's role.
