Who uses a Tablet to surf and post?

Do have a Mac as well but since getting the iPad it doesnt get much use.

Wife was quite content with her MacBook Pro until we got an iPad.
Last time I seen the MacBook Pro it was collecting dust along with all the exercise equipment that we just had to have.

I bought my wife a Motorola Xoom. I've used it a few times on forums and it works fine, especially with the Tapatalk app.

I still need the laptop and desktop for other purposes, like office apps, taxes and reading/burning disks.

Looks like Apple is the hands down winner on this board. I was leaning that way since I did not want to convert all my itunes music to another format. When held in the hand the iPad reeks of quality. Not as much with the others. Only thing I don't like about the iPad is the inability to expand memory via a SD card.

I have a Kindle Fire, which is just perfect for reading ebooks -- much better than the basic Kindle I was using previously. I have looked at the S&W forum on the Fire, and it is easy to read. The photos can be enlarged easily for detail inspection. I can't recall actually posting a reply through the tablet, but I don't like virtual keyboards where you have to tap on glass. I will still use a desktop or laptop for most posting.

I've been thinking about getting an iPad just because so many people say they are cool. I may wait a few months for the current hoopla to die down over the new one.

iPad all the way. More people making apps, more accessories, more people using it than probably any other tablet.

I'm on my EVO 4G phone, which is really a small Android tablet. This is the most useful tool I've ever owned.

Google maps, and quickbooks online are the shizwizzle.

Using a kindle fire. My laptop died the day after I got my fire, haven t missed it. Only problem with the fire is the key board, it s taking some getting used too.
