Who was your favorite band during your coming of age

Allman Brother's, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Eagles, Jim Morrison, Beatles... Anything from the mid 60's to mid 70's fits in well with the era I grew in. Plus I have three older sisters and two younger brothers so I cover a broad era of music. Best youth music memory is 1969. Sitting in the Beef Room in NOLA after a family funeral. In through the back door walks John, Paul, George and Ringo. They sat at the table next to us. I had an autographed Poloroid picture, but sadly it has been long lost to time.

You won't believe this-
First time I saw the Allman Bros, they were setting up in the gazebo in Piedmont Park on Sunday afternoon to play for free.
Justa bunch of Bibb county freaks tryin' to make a name.....

Too bad Duane and a bus tangled.

Nobody ever mentions Ten Years After.
Alvin was, IMO, arguably in the top 10 axmen of all time.

Ozzie Nelson and His Orchestra - I don't want to set the world on fire - with Harriet Hilliard (the future Mrs. Harriet Nelson) accompanying with vocals.
