Why are k frame triggers the best?

I'm with the "L's and K's are the same" camp. I have a fair number of both and while they aren't all identical they are very close...just depends on some variables. I have to say the best of the lot is a 2 1/2" 686-1...but not by much! I don't have a bad trigger on any. How many of each have you tried? You may have run across a particularly good K trigger.

I realized today that my issue was the grip, the standard L and N frame grips are to large for my small hands. I tried one of each with the backstrap exposed, the trigger's were easy.
