I asked my pastor friend why did he think God made my wife
so darn pretty, such a good cook and homemaker, and most
of all so tolerant and understanding of my gun & holster collecting?
He said so you could love her.
I asked why then did he make her such an airhead?
He said that's so she could love you.

What I have heard: God was looking at Adam one day in the Garden, and thought to Himself: I can do better than that! So, he made Eve. :-) Most of us men would have to agree, He did a good job, especially with the one he blessed me with for 53 years, so far.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

WHY?

A question for the ages. First IMO is that God must have one heck of a sense of humor. Making sure every pot has a lid could not have been easy, the hard part is finding the correct lid, like with the Tupperware collection. I also believe opposites do attract & when combined together make a better person. If my wife were like me,

Absolutely! We were at a bible study last night and one of the "icebreakers" was everybody had to say whether they were an introvert or an extrovert.
Out of 7 couples there was only 1 couple where they both said the same thing (they were both introverts). All 6 of the other couples had one introvert and one extrovert.

While just the other day I was reminded she was sent from heaven... After my SIM card failed in my cell phone, I attempted to pry it out with a screwdriver! I had forgot what a SIM card was and tried pulling out its metal housing. A $600 mistake. She quietly said, "next time just ask me". Son of a gun, right again. Needless to say, I felt like an idiot as I watched her patiently program my new phone! She was so sweet about the whole thing.

How I managed without her is truly a mystery!

God woke Adam up from a nap in the garden and said: “Adam, I am going to provide a help mate for you. She will do all of your cooking and cleaning, she will have intimate relations with you, she will not harp on you when you go hunting mammoth with the boys, and most importantly she will be respectful of you and honor you.” Adam looked up at God skeptically for a moment, then asked: “Alright, but what is that going to cost me?” God replied: “Adam, for such a fine gift, surely you must understand that sacrifices have to be made. It will cost you an arm.” Horrified, Adam replied: “Okay then, what can I get for a rib?
