Spring is my least favorite season!

1) opening the pool
2) power washing the house, patio, & concrete
3) cleaning out the garage
4) replacing sprinkler heads broken over the winter
5) lawn & shrub work
6) waxing the cars
7) setting up all the outdoor patio & lawn furniture
8) cleaning , cleaning, cleaning
9) sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.

NO TIME LEFT FOR SHOOTING & RE-LOADING!!

Lot of chores to be done for sure Chief. I feel where you are
coming from. But after winter i need it.
Spring is my Favorite time of the year, then fall next.
I would say the dead of winter is my least favorite followed
closely by the summer when it gets real hot and muggy.

Funny thing how your perspective changes as you get older! When I was younger I loved cold weather. The snap in the air, the crispness, it got me going. I hated the heat. Nowadays, not so much. What with health issues that have affected my circulatory system, I'm turning into a reptile. I realized this was true the last few times I've gone to Texas to visit my folks. I used to always like to keep the inside temp of my house around seventy year round. When ever I went to see them I would take a small high velocity fan to try & stay cool, as they keep their house close to eighty. The last few time I've been to see them I was pretty comfortable at this temp, so I know I've gone through some kind of metamorphosis! I guess this is the reason that people retire to warmer climes. That & just not having to deal with snow & ice!:D:eek:

I'm a warm weather person, loving spring and summer.
Don't mind all the chores.

What I do dislike about spring in Georgia is the two weeks we just saw with the overwhelming yellow pine pollen. Doesn't bother my sinuses, I don't have allergies... just hate that yellow crapola all over everything!!

Give me a climate of a high of 60 degrees and you won't get any complaints from this cat.

With my neuropathy, the hotter it is the better I function. Give me the 100 degree plus days, I'll be out hiking, biking, grillin' and floating down the river on an inner tube drinking beer. I can't wait until it gets so hot everyone starts complaining.
Love that hot summer sun.

I like when spring finally comes. I'm looking forward to getting busy outside again - it'll be nice to shed my "winter coat".

Plus there's walleye season opening soon. :D :)

Put the snow thrower away. Get the lawn mower out.
Pressure wash the house, repair the winter ice damage to the stucco.
Charge the bike battery. This year, new battery for the Vette, I could get by but it's ten yo. New is time.
Wash clean and reseal the deck.
Plant the tomatoes, peppers and herbs.
Weed & Feed.
Edge the sidewalks and walkways f&b.
Clean the flower beds.
Put up the wire fence for the giant Peonies along r walk.
Etc.......

I'm getting tired already and I only did the first one today. Cold, windy!:D

Spring = spraying for bugs until Halloween.:( I saw a couple of roaches wandering around when I got the mail last evening so I broke out the Raid and did some "legal in the city" hunting. Probably killed about 20 in all including a few juveniles. If we take that as 10 pairs and multiply up by the way they breed, then that is an estimated 3-4000 I will not see later this year.:D

I love all four seasons. Winter lows in the 40's highs in the 70's sometimes it does freeze out here but only for a couple of hours and then it warms back up.

Of course it took me a little while to get used to the 110-115 in the summer but now I even like that. A lot of sunscreen has to be used but that beats a winter coat.

Life in the desert, hard to beat sometime. Of course I do miss trees.

Changed oil, blades, battery & belt on the mower. Cleaned everything up so I could mow yesterday. Went to lowes for about a hour, came home and the teenager was very proud of herself for getting the lawn done.

Do all the hard work and the kid gets all the glory. At least the lawn looked good...

A teenager that cuts grass!!! I would gladly do the mower up keep , for that child ! You are blessed !! PS its been a long cold winter , I'am ready to be warm.
