Why not a CSX in SA/DA

I got pretty interested in the CSX when I first saw it. Then I found out it is SA only. Being DA as well would have made it much more useful. At least to me. I wish they would give it a little thought.

Me too. Like to see this model offered in D/A as well. Metal frame appeals to me and I think they would sell very well. Being a CS-9-40-45 fan I would be tempted to add another.

I would like to see the CSX with a trigger like the one on the .380 BodyGuard. It is a long easy DA pull and has a double strike capability. Short of that I would go for a traditional DA/SA with a hammer drop safety. All that said, as an longtime 1911 shooter I really do like my CSX as is.

I'd buy a DA/SA CSX if Smith made one. If they made on the size of a CS9, I'd probably buy TWO.
