Why on 65-? 3 inch One more that other

First, this is NOT a plug for what I have listed on GB. I have had a about 6 of the 65-3 and 65-5 pass through my little retail operation. All guns are 3 inch barrel. The the interest, GB watchers, Gun Show questions and sales of the 65-5 are two to one over the 65-3. Both or all guns are in the same condition. Shooters, nothing collectable and no PD markings. Again just shooters. No boxes, no instruction and all have the magna round butt K frame grips showing wear. Any one out there got an idea on why.
