Why P-Mags

Just remember this ammo is

Bullet Material Jacket:Gilding Metal Brass
Core: Steel and Lead-Antimony Alloy

Some ranges don't allow steel core ammo. I use it with no problems at the farm and my range doesn't care.

Thanks for that. I thought they were 55 grain too as that's what the label said at Wally World. But they are 62 grain. The steel in the core won't po the rangemaster here (me :) ) but I have been looking closely at joining a club nearby so I just checked their rules. Looks like the only thing they ban are glass, pumpkins, and tannerite so I should be good.

Mags

Might want to look at Lancer mags as well. Reportedly even tougher than P-Mags. Polymer with metal lips.

My $1600 Sport VTACH II came with a pmag and it works flawlessly. I see no reason to change type of mags when pmags are cheap (just got a bunch for $10 each) and work perfectly.
