Why would anyone Shop at

Another satisfied Bud's customer.
I have purchased a number of guns from them with no issues whatsoever. Also a chronograph at a great price.
LGS is a fan, too, as they are listed there and do a lot of transfers (read pure profit with no inventory overhead).
Service and product have always been perfect.
As for VIP, yeah, its a marketing tool, but it did let me get the pick of the litter on the Aussie Model 10s a while back.

I've purchased a number of things from Bud's including guns. No problems, quick shipping, good CS for the item I had a issue with, returns/replacement was no hassle. I don't what the problems are with some other folks, but I have had nothing but good transactions with them. You do whatever you feel is right for you - but I'm pleased with them and continue to do business with them.

I don't see it as much different than Amazon offering Amazon Prime for an extra fee. There are certain perks with it, that make it worth while.

Is the VIP club fee per year or per gun?

Bud's

Don't like Buds? - - - Don't buy there.
That leaves more for those of us who do.
They are large/busy/retail...They have some problems, once in awhile.
Overall I have a better chance of finding what I want there than 'the others'.

stay calm, it's no big deal

I ordered a shotgun from them on Dec. 11th. My FFL. called me today to say that it arrived. Not too shabby considering the time of year and current gun buying frenzy going on.

I didn't become a member or sign up for anything, and recieved great service and communication. Buy with confidence.

I was IN Buds today and he had 3 ruger 10/22s on the floor racks. One had a nice scope on it. 209$. The others varied in price 200-250$.

Ordered a Savage FVSR on the afternoon of 1/12 (Saturday) from Bud's Gun Shop. Arrived today at my FFL. Saturday to Wednesday... that's as good as it gets.

Many purchases from Buds - no problems ever. I also do the VIP thing - figure it pays for itself with the free shipping. Love their 90 day layaway - don't see that anywhere else that I know of.

Last gun I bought was from buds. I did not do the VIP but a Gunbroker bid, with shipping an dtransfer fees I saved $45 over the two guns shops that had a different bbl length in stock. One was 140 miles away the other only 70. It waas a smooth transaction.

I have bought numerous guns from Buds. All were fine transactions. Also collected $28 on their price differential guarantee of their lowering of price on an AK I bought there some months back. I had to jump through a few hoops but a Buds employee helped me and did most of the work.

A fine company in my estimation.

Greed? It's a business, the whole point is to make a profit. As far as paying for the privilege of doing business with them, you do that every time you purchase something from a retailer. I've had great experiences with them.

Remember, everything you see on the internet is true. I would say more, but I have to get ready for my date with the Russian model I met on the internet.
A satisfied customer tells a few friends. A dissatisfied customer will tell the whole world, even if he is the one who is wrong.

I have never bought a gun from Bud's...however everybody I know that has has been satisfied with the service.

Right now...with all the panic buying going on is not the best time to judge a gunstore or firearms retailer!!...Just too much stupidity in the market..and any company dealing arms and ammo is stretched to the limits just dealing with the flood!

I buy most of my guns from just two nearby establishments...both family owned and ran gunstores...they ain't cheap..but the service is superb. Plus since I do buy a lot of dollars worth of guns..they have no problems receiving firearms I do buy online.

Little late to the party here but Bud's has been great to me since I moved here to Lexington. They are a local company that has done good and gone big. They have their warehouse, retail store (known as The Gun Warehouse for some issues with their old storefront in Paris, KY), an indoor range and shooting training facilities. I've purchased two firearms from them in the last 13 months and both went great. I purchased my Model 28 from them used a bit over a year ago. Bargained with them, paid cash, got a good deal. The gun ended up having some endshake and they fixed it no questions asked.
On Saturday I ordered a new six shooter that's been hard to get lately. I ordered it online and chose to pay cash and pick it up in person at their store. I received order updates promptly and yesterday morning was informed it was in. Went in after work, paid my monies, thanked the man, and was off. Great experience again.
I also took my CCW class there in December and my gf has done that along with a Lady's shooting course. All have been great experiences.
Bud's is great to deal with and has fair prices. Honestly, I love that they are here because between them and another fairly large (although physically small) gunstore in town the prices here in town are low. People and stores can't ask silly prices like when I lived in Northern Michigan because these big business doing stores are here and they have real market prices and not inflated local prices.

Yeah, I like Bud's. I don't chose to participate in their VIP program but I would if I had to. They're also usually able to negotiate if you talk to them. They always respond well to cash/checks too.
