Anybody tried putting a normal sear block in a cali frame?
I'm not trying to deactivate the magazine disconnect as I've already did.
Just want to know if it's possible because it looks very similar to a normal one.

Thank you

I just got a NIB MP 9 2.0 compliant. Cali compliant I don’t know. I guess I could run the sku and see. But I just figured the frames was the same and I could do whatever swap I want. But I haven’t a clue. I’m new to this firearm design. I would like to know also. Wardawg

Assuming you have a CA compliant M&P 2.0, there are no differences in the frames. There are also no differences in the sear housing (just the housing, no other parts). You only need to remove the mag safety lever and replace the spring. Sounds like you've already done it.

However, to answer your question, Yes, you can swap out the entire sear housing (if it's easier). I even swapped in a 2.0 sear housing (and trigger bar) into my CA Compliant 1.0 to get the full 2.0 trigger.
