Will CSX e slide fit regular original CSX

Wanting to know if will fit so I don't have to have my slide machined for optics.

I think you are right. Didn't think about it. Will have to double check what he said.

Well, maybe he just meant that the Shield fit on the CSX frame rails - that would probably make sense. Hey, but as a guy with two CSXs, I'm watching this thread. I believe another thread on this forum says the CSX-E long slide will fit on the CSX, but I'd sure like to hear it (or better yet see it) from someone who has both models.
